Breakfast YogHurt Bread

This bread is great for breakfast or brunch. It is a wholesome and tasty way to get the day off to a fantastic start and best of all, it can be prepared in minutes. This recipe will yield one loaf.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup white flour
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 2/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup whole bran cereal
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 6 oz. container Fair Cape Free Range™ Yoghurt, fruit-flavored
  • 1/4 cup Fair Cape Free Range™ Milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil

Instructions :

In a medium mixing bowl stir together white flour, whole wheat flour, sugar, bran cereal, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Make a well in the center. In a small bowl combine egg, Fair Cape Free RangeTM Yoghurt, milk and oil. Add yogurt mixture all at once to flour mixture. Stir just until moistened. Pouor into a greased 8x4x2 inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 degree F. for 50 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool in pan for 10 minutes. Serve and enjoy a wonderful day!
