Herewith a short summary of the route: The start is on the farm yard of the Rondebossieberg Farm heading in a Northerly direction. As it will be a downhill fast start with a cattle grid gate after about 500m riders must be very careful and look out for the Marshal at this gate. After approximately 3km the route takes a sharp turn to the right. Hereafter the riders make there way along a jeep track all the way back to the farm yard where spectators will have a great view of the frontrunners. Shortly hereafter (7km from the start) the first big climb of the day starts, a 600m long climb with 150m ascent up Rondebossieberg. Please enjoy the spectacular views of the peninsula as you make your way around the berg in a clockwise direction until you enter the farm Loch Lynne where a couple of kilometers of track through the beautiful vineyards (watch out for the severe drop in the straight westerly section) takes you to the Adderlerley Rd crossing at Bone Mella at the 12.7km mark.

After 3 kilometers of mostly wheat land single and jeep track through the farm Vrymansfontein you will enter the farm Welgegund where more fast vineyard roads await the riders. Riders will have the great opportunity to visit Fair Cape dairies milk production unit by riding through one of the huge cow houses called "Home of the happy cows"TM. After more dirt tracks riders will enter the farm Kuypers Kraal where the second climb of the day up Malanshoogte hill awaits the riders. At 25.7km riders will turn right on the Malanshoogte road where they will have time to catch their breaths when they go down the exhilarating fast Malanshoogte hill on super smooth tar road. Make sure you stop at the Fair Cape waterhole at 28km where the fun and games and of course goodies to eat and drink will inspire you for the last 17km home. Riders continue on the Malanshoogte Road for another 2.6 km where they will turn left at the farm Rondekuil. After 1km they turn right and make there way towards the Adderley farm where a quick visit to the farm yard will link riders back to the Adderley Road. After only 300meters on tar riders turn right into the Occultdale road where after 3 kilometers of fast gravel road they will turn right and make there way to the finish line at Rondebossieberg farm along more very scenic farm tracks. Total ascent approximately 700m.
