Macedonian Meat-and-Vegetable Hash

Ingredients:

  • 1 teacup Fair Cape Free RangeTM Milk
  • 1 teacup drained Fair Cape Free RangeTM Yoghurt
  • 600g minced meat (pork and veal)
  • 1 teacup rice
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 6 onions,
  • 2 bunches of parsley
  • Salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • Oil

How to prepare:

Fine cut 1 onion and stew with some oil and water. Add minced meat and rice, salt, sprinkle with pepper and stew, constantly stirring. When minced meat is ready and the rice becomes “glass”, add cut parsley and remove from heat. Cut the remaining onion into big slices and arrange in a greased baking dish. Cover with the mixture, add two cloves of garlic, pour with 2 teacups hot water and bake at medium heat for 30 minutes. Mix eggs, Fair Cape Free RangeTM Milk and yoghurt and pour over the meal. Bake until redden.
