Johan Boshoff, the operations director at Fair Cape Holdings, grew up in George in the southern Cape. From a young age it was clear that Johan had a creative mind, which gave him an aptitude for technical applications, and he also displayed good leadership skills.

After he matriculated in 1992 from P.W. Botha Hoër Tegniese Skool in George, Johan joined [A company in the dairy industry]. He shares more than 16 years of experience in the dairy industry. In 1995, when he was just 21 years old, he was promoted to production manager. Shortly afterwards, in 1996 [a chemical company in the dairy industry] approached him to join them as an area manager for the Eastern Cape. The following year Johan was once again approached, this time by Fair Cape’s directors.

Johan joined Fair Cape Farm at Welgegund in 1997 as a factory manager. Since his appointment he has never looked back. With the rapid expansion of The Dairy Connection at Killarney Gardens he was promoted to the Fair Cape Holdings technical production director’s position in 2003, and within three years, he was given the opportunity by the Loubser family to become the only executive shareholding director outside of the family. He also serves on the Product steering Corporate Governance committee of the Board.

During his career since 1993, Johan established a comprehensive network of domestic and international business contacts Johan’s attention to detail and holistic approach along with his ability to solve problems and his drive to implement new systems make him a valuable member of and great asset to the Fair Cape Group.

Johan’s portfolio includes responsibilities as a company director, the overall management of all production facilities, processing and packaging, maintenance, quality control, and various business related assignments. He has an extensive network of suppliers of goods and services, as well as subject matter experts relating to production and business.

Johan is a keen rifle enthusiastic and enjoys various outdoor activities.
